Quincy Anderson, Maxine Martell and Inge Roberts: October 2022

This October Museo is proud to present three distinguished and well-respected Whidbey Island artists who have made their mark in the world of art.

This month Quincy Anderson presents her meditative nature based paintings. In her richly textured and layered canvases, Quincy explores movement and light, patterns of reflections and shadows, and the rhythms of water.

Museo is honored to present the work of award winning artists Maxine Martell. Maxine calls her work “visual poems”. This particular lyrical body of work, of empty garments, tells of the people who may have or may still inhabit the garments and of our place in the world. The work is sensual, soulful, and, of course exquisite

Inge Roberts’ delicate porcelain pieces are imbued with history.  In symbols gathered from her travels; the patterns, the objects, and the architecture, tell an ancient yet contemporary story that is told with gratitude and respect, and a bit of a wicked sense of humor.
