Janis Swalwell
has worked with handblown glass design for nearly
30 years, with as many years marketing, promoting
and selling glass art for her company
and for other artists. In 1997 she and her husband
finished construction of a glassblowing facility
on Whidbey Island. Here she is working on
a line of contemporary art glass, and experimenting
with pate de verre technique and casting glass.
