About Museo

April 2010

Current Exhibit:
During the month of April, MUSEO gallery welcomes the spring season with an exhibit of works inspired by the garden.  The show, entitled "The Artful Garden", will present botanical-themed paintings by Lisa Snow Lady.
Sculptural garden pieces by featured artists will also fill the gallery, all in celebration of the amazing gardens of the Pacific Northwest and Whidbey Island.

Lisa Snow Lady:
With thoughtful details to the nature of plants, Lisa Snow Lady's contemporary botanical paintings are simultaneously rich and refreshing.
Layering textured paper, paint and drawing from extensive printmaking processes, care is given to achieve a balance and harmonious palette to each creation. (click here for artist gallery)

Jongae Swanson:
We will also be introducing jewelry by local Whidbey artist Jongae Swanson.
Architectural yet often organic in nature, we will be showcasing her sterling silver necklaces, brooches and earrings.  Describing her work as "poems in metal", Swanson's pieces convey a compact and powerful statement while still remaining unpredictable. (click here for artist gallery)

From vases, decorative tiles and planters to exterior sculptures, stepping stones and trellises, garden lovers will rejoice. Featured gallery artists:
