About Museo

May 2009

Museo Gallery will feature new works by artists David Gignac & Michael Hoffman.

Working in steel, Gignac creates industrial sculptures that bridge the gap between the mysterious and the familiar, transforming common objects and forms through forging and fabricating steel, sometimes incorporating cast glass or recycled products. (Click here for gallery)

Hoffman's abstract work is about the act of painting itself, showing strong evidence of the physical relationship to the canvas as he paints, using his body's motion as a natural pendulum and the random arcs of his markings.
